Improving Balance: A Brain Based Approach

$149.00

Join Deborah in a virtual 6-hour workshop over 3 weeks, exploring a brain based approach to improving balance. If the eyes are having problems with motor control or there are vestibular (inner ear) challenges it will negatively influence a person’s ability to balance, spot for turns as well as increase overall tension in the body. When balance is compromised the body works harder to maintain its upright control and does that by ‘holding on’ and working harder muscularly than it needs to.

This is an introductory course. No previous anatomy or neurology knowledge is necessary. You will learn ways to both assess your balance and explore a strategies to immediately assess their influence on your balance.

This course will be offered virtually and recorded for those who cannot join live. If possible clear your schedule to join in person in order to ask your questions and join in the conversation around balance!

All classes will be noon - 2pm EST, 11-1 CST, 10-noon PST
